yes! we are back in business again.
after a summer retreat of nearly 4 weeks we are already working again for a few weeks.
actually my holidays were mostly working this year....but not for clients but for myself this time.
i have build a little bathroom with shower in the workshop.
i wanted this for years already but never had the time untill this summer.
this autumn intern 'erik sluijs' is reinforcing the team and we really need this.there is a enourmous amount of work to be done.
the sales of mr.knox are still increasing.
at the moment we are making 6 of them at the same time, which is great but also a lot of work of course and we only have limited space so it is a little full.
the blue-grey knox is for jack and jones in denmark.
they soon will launch a new line of more exclusive products in a new store in austria.
the new slogan is 'denim is our currency' and they will present the items in the denim-blue mr.knox, very cool!
the other ones are for shops and private customers in the netherlands and germany. i sold one to a clinet in the german town i was born in!!! there are more and more shops selling my work so i will soon make a assumption of them on my website.
we also sold another froglamp which will be produced soon. its always great fun to produce them. you can see the upper and lower rings on the picture in the car, together with all the parts of the 6 mr.knox. everything produced by the nice cnc-factory 'Terdo' in zwijndrecht.
the 'Venlo' projct is coming to an end next week.i have been working for few month on several interior items for the new cradle2cradle cityoffice. unfortunately i still cannot show you pictures until the official opening in october....so more to come soon.
they also asked me to produce 300 custommade giveaways so it looks al little bit like a factory at the moment...
Two weeks ago i did a little interview and pictures were taken for the utrecht based magazine "'uit' for the 'talent' column.
the magazine will be distributed in utrect in october so be prepared to meet me at your kitchen table....:)
