it is dusty in the workshop and it has a very simple reason: i am working with viroc.
Its a new material from baars and bloemhoff made out of wood particles combined with cement.
they asked me to design a big meetingtable for the headquarter in nieuwegein.
the meetingroom has a kind of 'stone theme' so we decided to use this material.
the table will have an organic shape like a pebble stone, a very nice side project!

furthermore i am working on an very big blast cabinet for a private client.
it is so tall it hardly fits in the workshop and that is a problem i have more often lately.
i really need to find a bigger workshop in the near future, if you have tips let me know! (in the area utrecht)
next week the design fair in dubai starts where mr.knox in oakwood and locky are exhibited for the first time in the united arabic emirates. perhaps also because of this fact, i ended up in a list about new designers to keep an eye on....(although i am not that new, isn't it?)
anyhow, i hope the show will have good results for the organizer judy straten and all other participants.
